A 15 month long drug investigation in the Estevan area has led to two men and two women facing drug trafficking related charges. The majority of the investigation was carried out by an investigative unit then-known as the Regina Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, in partnership with the Estevan Police Service, Estevan RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team.
They were looking into offences alleged to have occurred between November 2016 and November 2019. Numerous search warrants were executed with seizures of drugs, cash, and firearms.
On Thursday, four people from the Estevan area were arrested. 38 year old Andrew James Young, 37 year old Lindy Erin Darling, 22 year old Kyra Lorelle Gessner, and 35 year old Craig E. Tendler are jointly charged with Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine. Young and Darling are also charged with weapons offences.
All four have been released and will make their first court appearances in Estevan Provincial Court on June 29th.
