Saskatoon’s Coconut Software is helping banks and financial institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Coconut Software released new remote meeting capabilities that many of North America’s leading banks and credit unions have begun using to book remote meetings by video or on the phone.
Nathan Poellet, Director of Product with Coconut Software, says the company had been developing more digital channels and when the coronavirus hit they released the software they had been working on at no additional cost.
Poellet adds they really want people to be able to stay at home and get answers about their finances through video conferencing or conveniently scheduled phone call.
Coconut Software allows advisors to schedule appointments with banking customers to limit the amount of people going to their branches. The software utilizes conferencing providers like Zoom to connect people. Poellet says their role is to become the facilitator to make sure everyone is clear on what’s happening and when.
