You could win a $1.8-million home built by Rocy Homes in Greenbryre estates, but only if you buy a ticket for the spring Hospital Home Lottery. It’s a custom-built 44-hundred square foot home that includes a games room and a craft room. It’s awarded fully furnished and professionally decorated by Atmosphere Interior Design, and the grand prize winner also takes home $50-thousand cash.
Tours of the home begin on Saturday and tickets are available now by phone or online. The eary bird prize is the choice of a 2020 Land Rover Discover SE and a Rome Explorer Tour or $100-thousand cash. The over 1-thousand prizes include vehicles, vacations, and leisure experiences.
CEO of St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation, Lecina Hicke, says winning these prizes are a great enticement, but most people who buy tickets also realize their money is going towards Saskatoon’s City, St. Paul’s and Royal University Hospitals, which is another reason why they buy them.
Proceeds go towards the Hospice at Glengarda for St. Paul’s Hospital, operating rooms at City Hospital and the epilepsy recovery unit at Royal University Hospital. Hicke expects the hospice will open late this year.
