The Saskatchewan Huskies are headed back to the Hardy Cup Final, after a 28-23 victory over Alberta in the semi-final action on Saturday.
It wasn’t easy, as Alberta scored majors on their first two possessions of the football game and took a 6 point lead into the locker-room at halftime.
The Huskie defence stepped up in the second effort taking the football away from Alberta five times in the second half, including three straight interceptions to snuff out consecutive drives.
Saskatchewan will now head to Calgary next Saturday for a rematch of the 2018 Hardy Cup. CJWW will have the broadcast starting with the Countdown to Kick-off at 1pm.
