The three day farm show attracted 30,474 people to its location near Langham, about twenty minutes northwest of Saskatoon.
The total eclipsed the 2018 numbers by about 140 people. A new single day attendance mark was set on Wednesday with 12,660 people going through the gate.
The record was established under less than ideal weather conditions. It was the first time in five years that Ag in Motion had to deal with rain, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon. At the tail end of the show on Thursday, there was rain and a very strong wind.
Manager Rob O’Connor says many people are using Ag in Motion as a major source for searching out information and seeing the new products that are available. He adds that farmers are making this show their own.
“They have become extremely loyal. A lot of people who were not exhibitors stopped me around the site to mention that they had been there for all five years of the show,” said O’Connor.
Ag in Motion had 550 exhibits this year.
