In April 2015 6 year old Blaine Sanford died and his 3 year old brother Rhett was badly injured in an ATV accident in southwest Saskatchewan. While Rhett has recovered, it was a long road to wellness which led to the Sanford family calling Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon home for about six months. The Sanford family hasn’t forgotten what the House did for them and they continue to try and give back. So around noon Sunday they, as the driving force behind a fundraising drive in southwest Saskatchewan, delivered a large donation to Ronald McDonald House. It includes food, grocery gift cards, pajamas, socks, slippers, sweaters, mitts, scarves, household items and toys. The Frontier family worked with several of their friends as well as Innovation Credit Union and the Swift Current Broncos to coordinate the donation.
