The Big River RCMP have arrested two suspects in relation to a home invasion overnight on Thursday at a property about three kilometers south of Debden where two long-barreled firearms were reportedly stolen.
The suspects fled the house when the owner then followed them in another vehicle.
When a number of shots were fired in his direction from the suspect vehicle the owner stopped the pursuit.
The truck involved, a Dodge 4-door pickup has been recovered by police as well as a firearm.
At this time no charges have been laid.
The investigation is being completed with the assistance of the Prince Albert General Investigators Unit and Prince Albert Forensic Identification Services.
