Another day on the road for that big move in southern Saskatchewan. The load left Carlyle Monday morning and is travelling today (weds) from Lafleche leaving at 8:30 am. The goal is to get to the Highways Gravel Yard on Highway 4, 1 kilometre south of junction 43. Richards Transport is transporting pipe modules from Carlyle to the Chinook Power Plant near Swift Current. The average highway speed will be 40 kilometres an hour and the load will pull over approximately every 10 kilometres to allow traffic to pass. Pilot vehicles will also be present.
