It’s called the J-STAR system and its expected to increase access to justice and reduce the time it takes for cases to go to trial in Saskatchewan. The system is used for scheduling, tracking cases, and processing financial transactions in the Court. The “Judicial Schedule, Tracking and Amalgamated Reporting” – or J-STAR- system, integrates the availability of judicial resources, court staff, and courtrooms into a single stream making it easier to schedule and coordinate cases in the Court of Queen’s Bench.
J-STAR is also designed to make access to services and documents easier for lawyers, media outlets, and self-represented litigants.
As well, debit and credit are now being accepted at all Court of Queen’s Bench locations across the province.
