A company called, High Tide Ventures says it has applied for cannabis retail permits in 16 communities across Saskatchewan. They are bidding on locations in Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert, North Battleford, Lloydminster, Martensville, Warman, Meadow Lake, Melfort, Melville, Moose Jaw, Swift Current, Weyburn, Estevan, Humboldt, and Yorkton. The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority has made 51 cannabis retail permits available in 32 communities. Requests for Proposal have been invited and its expected permits will be awarded through a random draw by June 1st. High Tide is a privately-held Alberta-based company.
