The normal operation of the Saskatchewan legislature was suspended today (Mon.) following the tragic bus crash Friday near Tisdale.
The legislature approved a motion of condolence and of thanks to the first responders and health care workers who dealt with the Humboldt Broncos bus tragedy.
Premier Scott Moe says the province is left reeling and shocked by the event but Humboldt has the backing of the province and the individual support has been incredible.
NDP leader Ryan Meili added his voice to the offer of condolences and thanked all those who have been supporting the community from around the world.
A moment of silence was held in the legislature and the names of the 15 people killed in the bus crash were read aloud by the Premier.
