After coming in from the cold, there is nothing better than soup to warm your insides and that’s why one of the most popular events of the Nutrien Wintershines festival is the YXE Chef’s Soup Cook-off.

Three representatives from Saskatoon Media Group along with other local personalities will be paired with a celebrity chef.

CJWW announcer Jay Richards is paired with Tracy Leonhardt from Leopold’s Tavern. 98 Cool announcer Hudson will be cooking soup alongside USask chef from Louis’ Loft, David Rose and reporter Devyn Gregoire will represent 92.9 The Bull and he is paired with Dana Chadorf of the Saskatoon Club.

They will compete for the honour of winning the cook-off trophy and bragging rights.

A ticket gets you a chance to taste all of the soups so you can vote for your favourite.

The event begins tonight (Wed) at 5 at the former Farmer’s Market building at River Landing.
