When it comes to incidents involving dangerous goods, Saskatchewan is one of the top three provinces for having problems. Nearly half of the total number of reportable dangerous goods incidents happened in Alberta in 2018, according to Statistics Canada. There were 225 incidents reported there. Ontario had the next highest number at 67 and Saskatchewan had 54. That number for us is a considerable increase from the 12 reported in 2014. In 2018, 38 of the incidents occurred on Saskatchewan roads. 12 were in facilities of some sort, and four involved rail traffic.
