Five people have been charged in Prince Albert in connection to an investigation involving the Integrated Street Enforcement Team, the Prince Albert Police Special Weapons and Tactics Team and the Criminal Investigations Division.
Just before 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, the P.A. Police SWAT team executed a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of 20th Street East.
As a result of the search, officers located numerous rounds of ammunition, blank cheques from a number of businesses, multiple identification cards, templates used to make fake Saskatchewan and Alberta licenses, bear spray and other evidence indicating the production of fake documents.
In a news release, police say three men and two women are facing charges of fraud and forgery in connection to the incident. Police also say several accused are also charged with possession of ammunition while prohibited.
