Melfort RCMP say there was a two vehicle crash on Highway 6 north of Naicam on Friday afternoon.

The accident happened around 2:30 pm when a pick up truck traveling south crossed into the lane of an air seeder going north.

The operator of the air seeder was taken to hospital with minor injuries, the 88 year old driver of the truck was deceased at the scene.

An autopsy was scheduled for Monday in Saskatoon. RCMP say the road conditions were consistent with winter travel and visibility was clear. The investigation is ongoing.
