Saskatoon Stop on NASCAR Pinty’s Series Finishes Up Despite Weather “Interruption”

“Mother Nature” ended up putting the “Thunder” in the Velocity Prairie Thunder Wednesday night at Wyant Group Raceway.

The violent thunderstorm that rocked Saskatoon and area just after 7 p.m. forced the first 125-lap feature into a red flag situation after 116 laps. L-P Dumoulin was declared the winner of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series race. Officials were able to get the second race run late Wednesday night with Andrew Ranger taking the checkered flag.
