The Saskatoon School of Horticulture has been told to close its doors.

The Ministry of Advanced Education says the shut-down order is because of a pattern of non-compliance with The Private Vocational Schools Regulation Act.

The decision not to renew the school’s registration means it can’t accept new students and prevents students from applying for loans.

The Ministry says students will be contacted and officials will try to minimize the impact on students.
