A glimpse of Saskatchewan in the early 1900’s is available this weekend at Saskatoon’s Western Development Museum.
Pion Era features how harvest looked in the early days around the province.
Coordinator Brenda Mundell says they have tried to recreate a turn of the century community fair.
Demonstrations of how steam and horse power were used to harvest crops are planned for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday with a 10 a.m. show on day one as well.
The event also includes a children’s area with games from the turn of the century.
The children’s tent opens at 11 o’clock each morning.
