According to 60 per cent of Canadians asked by REMAX, easy access to shopping, dining, and green space are at the top of their livability criteria. In a separate survey, brokers in 10 out of 15 markets ranked access to green space as high, including in Saskatoon. Nutana ranked best all-around neighbourhood for livability in Saskatoon. Nutana, Stonebridge and City Park rank as the top three neighbourhoods for access to green space and parks, walkability, retail, and restaurants along with the ease of getting around and public transit. Caswell ranks as the top hidden gem neighbourhood while it, Riversdale, and Exhibition rank as the top three for affordability and good supply of housing inventory.
