Damage to the Argo Bush and the pasture inside is extensive following a wildfire, south and west of Biggar.
The blaze took four days to control and burned an estimated 22,000 acres last week.
Bob Heather farms eight miles west and two miles south of Biggar on the edge of the Argo Bush, where the fire occurred.
Bob and his son Ryan own just over 200 purebred and commercial cows. The 17 quarters of land that those animals grazed on was damaged by the fire.
