The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a house fire at 613 Avenue H South shortly after 12:30 Saturday afternoon.
Once crews arrived, they found that smoke and flames were visible from the right side of the home causing the vacant home next door at 611 Avenue H South to ignite.
The initial fire was brought under control in 10 minutes.
No occupants were found in either of the two homes.
Portions of the walls and roof were removed from both homes while crews worked to extinguish any remaining hot spots.
No injuries were reported and damages are estimated at $150,000 for 613 Avenue H South and $80,000 for 611 Avenue H South.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
