Shortly after 10 Saturday morning, the Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a fire at a house at 311 Avenue S South.
The first crews arrived in four minutes and found a single storey home with smoke and flames visible from the front windows.
The fire was brought under control in 6 minutes and no one was found inside the home.
Crews then worked to extinguish any remaining hot spots and used ventilation fans to clear the remaining smoke.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
Damage is estimated at $60,000 dollars and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
