The Ian Scott-less Prince Albert Raiders visit the Saskatoon Blades Thursday to open a post-Christmas break home-and-home series.
Donovan Buskey is expected to get the call in goal for P-A, who bring a C-H-L-best 31-2-1 record into SaskTel Centre for the 7 o’clock first faceoff. Scott, along with right winger Brett Leason, are with Team Canada at the World Junior Championship in B-C.
It’s the fourth and fifth meetings out of eight this regular-season between the Bridge City Bunch and the Raiders over the next two nights in both Central Saskatchewan cities. The Blue and Gold will attempt to replicate their 1-0 victory over Prince Albert from December 9 on home ice. The Blades visit P-A Friday night.
Thursday night’s broadcast on 98-COOL begins at 6 with the Sardinia Family Restaurant pre-game show.
