The N-D-P M-P for Saskatoon West has called on the Federal Government to declare the opiod crisis is a national emergency.
Sheri Benson says the crisis claims more and more lives each day and urges the Trudeau government to commit significant new dollars and resources.
Benson says too many families are losing parents, siblings and children to drug addictions.
She says it’s time to treat drug addiction as a health issue.
