A Regina company has been fined over $71 thousand and levied a surcharge of over $28 thousand after a worker sustained serious injuries. Associated Mining Construction pleaded guilty to contravening regulations requiring an employer ensure that workers are informed of any risk associated with, and trained in the safe use of, a machine. A worker sustained a serious head injury when a structure tipped over, striking the worker on the head. The incident happened on July 28, 2016.
