Wholesale merchants’ sales in Saskatchewan were unchanged August to September, according to Statistics Canada. Nationally, there was a slight decline of 0.5 per cent. Year-to-year, sales were 11.4 per cent higher in Saskatchewan in September. Nationally, there was a rise of 3.8 per cent. Only Prince Edward Island outperformed Saskatchewan with a rise of 16.6 per cent. Wholesale merchants’ sales in our province totalled about $2.3 billion in September.
