Saskatoon Police are investigating after a 20 year old woman reports being forced into a van Sunday morning where there was an attempted sexual assault. The incident is alleged to have happened between 5 and 6:15 am. The woman says she was walking along 20th Street when she was pulled into a van by two people. The passenger was in the back of the van and is said to have attempted to sexually assault the woman who fought him off and escaped when the van stopped on the 11 hundred block of 20th Street West. She fled to her apartment and called police. The only description is that the driver was believed to have a beard about one or two inches long and they were in an older-style white van with a sliding panel door and no rear window. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
