All five people identified in connection to seven jingle dresses which were stolen from a vehicle parked on 22nd street on October 30th – have been arrested, and all the jingle dresses have been recovered.
Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers says within two hours of the theft which occurred on the weekend of the FSIN Powwow at SaskTel Centre, two suspects had pawned two of the dresses. Then November 1st, Saskatoon Police say two other suspects went into a pawn shop and tried to pawn two more of the dresses but didn’t think they were getting a good enough deal so they left with them.
Until recently, only three of the dresses had been recovered.
Saskatoon Police say the only item missing now is a belt.
