Thursday morning at 1:15 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted in Prince Albert on a vehicle that was parked in the 600 block of 18th Street West.
A firearm was found in plain sight in the back of the vehicle and all of the occupants inside were arrested.
A man suspect resisted arrest and officers were able to bring him under control and was then arrested.
Officers found a rifle, a hunting knife and a machete in the vehicle which was then towed.
A 27 year old man from Prince Albert is facing charges including two counts of assault of an officer with intent to resist arrest.
A 41 year old man also from Prince Albert faces firearm related charges.
The two will appear in court today (fri).
