Suspects wanted in a break-in at an Aberdeen Municipal building around 2:30 Monday morning are spotted on surveillance video which is how RCMP tracked down one of the suspect vehicles. It was founded abandoned and was determined to have been stolen out of Alberta. Forensics specialist are now going over the vehicle for evidence although no suspects have been located.
The building that has been robbed was Aberdeen’s emergency services building which houses the fire department, ambulance and emergency measures organization. Mayor Renee Reimer Horner says entire buckets of equipment were dumped and they don’t know for sure what all was taken at this point. Some of the items they do know are gone include a laptop, bandages, oxygen set-up, intravenous, gauze, primary care kit, and their radio system which she says isn’t any good to anyone else and they would really like it back.
