Prince Albert Mayor, Greg Dionne has announced Husky Energy and the City of Prince Albert have agreed to a three year partnership for community enhancement projects.
On Monday, Mayor Dionne and Husky Energy announced a donation of $350 thousand dollars to finish the Rotary Trail located in the city’s west end.
The trail was chosen as one of the first projects due to the role it played in the 2016 water crisis. A temporary water line was set up to pipe water from Highway 302 along the trail to the water treatment plant.
Once the Rotary Trail is complete, the trail will run approximately 23 kilometres around the perimeter of the city.
