Around 1:45 Sunday morning, the Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a 911 call that reported smoke coming from a house located at 824 Avenue M South.
Once the first crews arrived, they found a bungalow with smoke coming from the eaves.
Crews then entered the home and extinguished the fire.
The fire had originated in the basement.
No one was found inside the home and there were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and damage is estimated at $40 thousand dollars.
