If you’re suspended, don’t drive. That’s the message from SGI. The Crown Corporation says driving is a privilege, not a right. The traffic spotlight this month focuses on people who have lost that privilege. Police across the province will be watching for people and vehicles that shouldn’t be on the road either because of a suspended licence or because of a lack of insurance. 138 SGI-funded automated licence plate readers are installed in law enforcement vehicles across Saskatchewan. SGI says 18 more are expected to be installed by next March. If you drive with a suspended licence, or without a licence, or an unregistered vehicle, and you are in an accident, you could be on the hook for all the damage you cause.
