Two structures were completely engulfed in fire and nearly burned to the ground by the time Saskatoon Fire crews were able to get to the scene. They were called out around four o’clock Sunday afternoon to an area north of 71st Street on Dalmeny Road. The fire had spread to surrounding fields by gusting wind. Crews focused on preventing the fire from moving east towards other homes. The blaze was contained and a water tanker remained on the scene to extinguish hot spots. No one was hurt. There is no damage estimate yet.
