Temporary Cease Trade Orders have been issued against ASBCFinancial and Account Manager Walter Turner. The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan says ASBC appears to be operating an illegal online trading platform. Neither the company nor Turner are registered to trade in, or advise on, securities or derivatives in Saskatchewan. A resident of the province opened an account with the company and received investment advice but has not been able to recover any of the significant sums of money invested. Anyone contacted by ASBCFinancial or by Walter Turner should contact the Securities Division of the Authority.
