If there are issues you’d like to discuss with the Saskatoon Board of Police Commissioners they will be at the Farmers’ Market tonight (tues) from seven to nine o’clock. The board says the community consultation is an opportunity to access up-to-date information on issues that impact the city and to ask questions. The commission also sees it as their chance to hear what’s on the minds of the citizens. The topics to be address are: The Safe Community Action Alliance, Cannabis, De-escalation techniques used by officers in potentially dangerous situations, and Street Check or Contact Interview policies and procedures. The farmers’ Market is at 414 Avenue B South.
