The preliminary lighting plans for the Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan site have been completed.
Artistic Producer Will Brooks expects the high-tech LED lights will fit in with the surroundings and make the area shine.
They propose the 450-thousand dollar budget be used on high-tech LED lights to illuminate trees and architectural features around their site while providing safety.
Brooks says they have sensors that will change and adjust the light as people walk by.
He feels the challenge is finalizing a plan that works for them, their partners and the public.
The group will now collaborate with officials at the Meewasin Valley Authority and city to make sure they are all in agreement.
Organizers have raised 1.2 million dollars toward the entire 3.5 million dollar capital plan which plan hope to have ready for the opening of the 2020 season.
