A re-development and sale of the old bus barns in Caswell Hill could be on the horizon. The City’s Finance committee gave the okay to city administration to seek proposals for a portion of the land. Now, the matter has to go before City Council to get the final approval before that process can begin. Director of Saskatoon Land, Frank Long says once the final approval has been given, administration will seek the best approval for redevelopment of the old maintenance site before moving on to the remaining parts of the property. Long adds the once the idea of the first portion has been finalized, the picture will become much clearer to what will become of the entire old bus barns property.
