The Saskatchewan N-D-P is calling on Premier Scott Moe to clarify his commitment for a new hospital in Prince Albert. A recently released request for proposals from the Saskatchewan Health Authority shows the province is examining both refurbished and new options for the existing Victoria Hospital. Moe, who promised a provincially funded hospital during the Sask Party Leadership campaign, says regardless, there will be a facility in Prince Albert. He says it could be a new facility, or an expanded facility with new wings. N-D-P M-L-A for P-A Northcote Nicole Rancourt says area residents should fully expect Moe to keep his promise.
