The work is almost done for the Boychuk Drive and Highway 16 interchange and while it’s going on,it will actually be open to traffic as of Sunday.
City manager for the project, Bryan Zerebeski, says it needs to be done so the detour roads can be removed and the ramps completed.
The speed limit will be 60 km/h while the work continues.
All east and westbound traffic exiting Highway 16 onto Boychuk Drive and Rural Road 3050 should stay in the right lane and go under the overpass.
Follow the loop to go north or south.
All northbound traffic on 3050 should continue to use the intersection to turn left onto Highway 16.
This project also includes a new interchange at McOrmond Drive and College Drive.
It will open in the next couple of weeks.
