Saskatchewan’s credit rating from Moody’s Investors Service remains at Aaa , which is the highest rating for a province or territory.
Finance Minister Donna Harpauer says Moody’s Aaa rating demonstrates the government is on track, reducing the deficit with a goal of bringing the budget to balance by the 2019-20 fiscal year.
Saskatchewan has the second highest overall credit rating among the provinces, behind British Columbia when you put the ratings of the three major agencies together – Moody’s, Standard and Poor’s, and Dominion Bond Rating Services.
