Similar to what happened in Saskatoon last night (Mon), there were concerns in Broadview School today (Tues) about a social media post threatening harm to other students.
RCMP say the school was placed in ‘hold and secure’ mode, but police were able to determine the post was about a school in Georgia, so the Broadview school is back to normal procedures.
Last night, Saskatoon Police received numerous complaints about a social media post about a school shooting, but it turned out to be about an incident in Glynn County, Georgia.
In that case, online sources say a 16 year old student was arrested and charged with making terrorist threats.
