A 74 year old woman rescued from a fire in Raymore did not survive her injuries.
When Punnichy RCMP officers arrived, the Raymore Fire Department had gotten Eva Dodd out of the home.
She was transported by Touchwood Ambulance and STARS to Regina General Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
It’s believed the fire started in the kitchen or living room and preliminary examination indicates the fire is not suspicious, but the fire is still under investigation with assistance from the Provincial Fire Scene Examiner.
