20 year old Brook Henderson made history Sunday at the C-P Women’s Open in Regina.
The Smith Falls, Ontario native shot a final-round 7-under-par 65 for a 21-under 267 total at the Wascana Country Club. The last time a Canadian won the national open was 45 years ago with Jocelyne Bourassa in 1973 in Montreal.
American Angel Yin was four shots behind in second place.
Henderson now has seven career victories on the L-P-G-A tour.
