It’s harvest time with meals in the field, combining ’til all hours and moving equipment, which is why the Government of Saskatchewan is reminding farmers and drivers to be safe.
Minister of Highways and Infrastructure, Lori Carr, urges drivers to take extra precautions when passing slow-moving farm equipment and be respectful even if you are frustrated with the pace.
Farmers should ensure all lights are working before driving on public roads, know all height, length and weight restrictions so you know if your equipment will fit and check for when permits may be required.
