Officials of the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations are spending the weekend listening to 60’s scoop survivors in Regina and Saskatoon.

They want to hear concerns related to the 750-million dollar settlement with the Federal Government hoping to find out how the organization can support survivors and plan future strategy.

FSIN Vice Chief David Pratt says survivors have told him they are upset about the 75-million dollars of settlement money earmarked for legal fees.

Pratt says officials hope to take the information from the Regina and Saskatoon sessions to map out plans to support and advocate for survivors.

The Saskatoon meeting is set for noon-to-5 p.m. Sunday at the Canadian Urban Metis Federation office on Avenue M South.
