The Humboldt Broncos’ Memorial Fund is in court today (wed) to ask that it be allowed to create an advisory committee and begin distributing funds donated to the GoFundMe campaign. The committee would prepare a report to the memorial fund board of directors recommending a method to allocate the donated funds. The group also wants to distribute an interim payment of $50 thousand each to the 13 survivors and the families of the 16 people who died after the April 6th team bus crash. The GoFundMe campaign raised over $15 million in donations.
