If you happen to drive by an accident on the road, don’t take pictures of it.
That’s the advice on Twitter from the Saskatoon Police Service Traffic Unit.
There was a serious multi-vehicle crash on Idylwyld Drive on Friday and police happened to notice a few people driving by taking pictures, which means they were using their phones while driving, which is illegal.
The SPS Traffic Unit post says they have plate numbers and these drivers will be contacted.
The advice from police is to not rubberneck.
The accident on Friday involved 6 vehicles with one man having to be extracted from his vehicle.
Three people were transported to hospital with what were believed to be non life threatening injuries.
