The Saskatoon Ex parade takes place today (tues) and road and parking restriction will be in place throughout the downtown parade route from 10 a.m. until the parade ends.
The parade staging area on Spadina Crescent from 24th Street to Warburton Street will be closed from 5:30 a.m. until around 10:30 a.m. The closure will include Queen Street east of 7th Avenue.
The parade route will also impact some transit routes including route 808, 4 City Centre and 5 City Centre.

The parade begins at 24th Street and Spadina Crescent East
West on 24th Street to 4th Avenue
South on 4th Avenue to 20th Street
East on 20th Street to Spadina Crescent East
North on Spadina Crescent East to 24th Street
There are a few price changes to make things more affordable at the Saskatoon Ex and more entertainment when you need a break from the rides.
Marketing manager with Prairieland Park, Kristy Rempel, says there is now a senior discount price for admission during the Ex and on Sunday for Family Day, seniors get in free.
As well, today (Tues) everyone gets in for the lowest admission price across the board, which is the $10 children’s admission.
Every day children 6 and under get in free.
Your admission nets you more stage entertainment than past years.
Rempel says they have ramped up the number of shows on the Kickin’ Horse Saloon Stage across from the Grandstand and a new patio stage has been added.
The Ruth Street Patio and Stage will feature indigenous entertainment during the day and reggae at night.
Saskatoon Transit will be providing service to and from Prairieland Park during the Saskatoon Ex.
Superpass holders will also be able to use regular transit routes for free to and from the exhibition grounds by showing their superpass when getting on a bus.
Tomorrow (wed) children 10 and under will be able to ride to and from the Ex for free and seniors can ride free to and from the Ex on Thursday.
