There was an attempted armed robbery at a business on the 16 hundred block of 22nd Street West around 10:30 last night (wed). Saskatoon Police say a man armed with a pipe demanded the cash register be opened. Instead, the employee sounded an alarm and the man fled. A K9 unit found a suspect a few blocks away.
